Canon imageCLASS MF244dw Series Reviews Printers– This printer seemed to be suitable for me and my printing needs, This printer is wonderful! I didn’t need to print in color, so the fact that this printer molds only black and white is perfect for me. I was looking for it with my old HP all-in-one printer that used ink cartridges that I was throwing away money with ink. I would print a few pages here and there and then the cartridges would be dried out, which was frustrating because I felt like throwing money away.
Canon imageCLASS MF244dw Setup
The setup was relatively easy for me. Printing via AirPrint from my iPhone 6s Plus and IPad is really easy! I am thrilled to be able to print anywhere in the house wirelessly as it is really convenient not to get bogged down by the cables. I downloaded the drivers from the Canon USA support site for this printer, but I’m not sure it was a necessary thing to do.
Print Quality
The print quality is right there for me. I was used to using inkjet printers and coming to this laser printer was a huge step forward for me in the quality department, especially when I was printing documents containing a lot of text. The print of the letters is crisp and clear even on the printer’s default settings, at least on my particular printer.
Scanning documents
I currently scan documents in the settings of 150 dpi or 300 dpi and I am really impressed with the quality of the scans that use these settings.
Final Thoughts
I was tired of always paying what seemed like a lot of money to print a handful of documents here and there and then go back and find the ink cartridges clogged or dried when I needed to use them again. The nice thing about this printer is that I am told that Canon’s 137 toner cartridges will never dry out like an inkjet cartridge.
