Canon PIXMA TS3450 Driver Download & Printer Review- The Canon PIXMA TS3450 is aimed at students and those who now need to work from home due to the pandemic, and claims to be cost-effective with FINE ink cartridges that can print 180 pages or up to 400 pages with the XL cartridge installed. The TS3450 is one of the printers that produce high quality 4×6″ images that can be printed on Glossy Photo paper in 65 seconds.

It comes in three different guises of black, white and a black & white combination but all share the same specs and a 1.5″ LCD screen for checking printer status and accessing core printer functions.

Canon says it has improved the Web Setup Guide which has easy-to-follow videos and step-by-step instructions to help users get set up in no time. It also features one-touch wireless connectivity that instantly connects the printer with a smart device, PC, or laptop when connected to Wi-Fi.

It will start shipping in January for an RSP of £44.99.

FINE PG-545 (Black) and CL-546 (Color) ink cartridges

The new series boasts an attractive hybrid ink system that uses a mixture of dye and pigment-based inks simultaneously, which Canon claims will deliver vivid colors as well as sharp text – perfect for the subject matter.

It can be filled with FINE PG-545 (Black) and CL-546 (Color) inks which can print 180 A4 pages in black and white or 180 in color. Even though there are already XL cartridges that should be able to print 400 A4 monoprints or 300 A4 color pages.

You can also set up Easy Ink Delivery Reminders which will email you when you run out of ink and provide links to genuine Canon ink so you can order new cartridges straight to your door – hassle-free!

Wireless technology

The new model can also be used with the Google Classroom app for teachers and students which allows them to print documents and photos directly in the app.

Voice command services like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant are supported so you can print life, check ink levels, or turn the printer on and off all hands-free.

Students who collaborate through Facebook Chat can also send and print photos directly through the Facebook Messenger application using PIXMA Chat Print.
